so now what?

sabrina wrote a post today about things being in her head that want to be written down...i soooooo know how she feels! that's how the cards acted when they wanted to be written. so now what?
i look at them. the fool card didn't like what it was so it made me redo it. but the rest?
they taunt me.

what do i do now?
we dunno! you drew us.
but you asked to be drawn!
sure, but now we are. we're good. what are ya gonna do?
i dunno...

yeah. so, i've played at the book writing...struggled with the drawing. at this point i realize painting is possible but not probable. i'm more comfortable with the pencils and that media. i need to find superior quality paper and begin the actual process of creating originals...though i still want to create color originals on a lesser quality paper to see if i need to adjust any designs or colorings.

right....now...here i go.....(slowly).

redesign of the fool...

so i am redesigning the fool card. it still has the mirror aspect in it, but it will have a person looking into the mirror...i drew a person in robes, but i am going to have the person in street clothes looking into the mirror and seeing a more traditional fool in robes...holding something...maybe the pack that the fool traditionally holds, maybe something else, not sure yet. i also decided i am doing a male and female version of the fool so that people can personalize the deck since, really, the fool is them and the deck their journey.

i'm posting the pic but it's really out of focus...just for the idea of it...
